Pep Talk for Missionaries

It's here! Our second edition is done! We initially wrote Best 18 Months: The Unofficial Handbook for Sister Missionaries.  As we traveled and spoke to the youth, we realized that there wasn't really anything in our book that young men and Elders couldn't benefit from as well. Hence, Pep Talk for Missionaries was born! We have added more experiences and perspective and all around cleaned it up.  We love the revised edition and think you will too! It is an uplifting, funny, easy read for all past, present and future missionaries.  Let us know your thoughts and feedback; we love to hear from you.

These are some darling Young Women we met along the way while speaking to the Youth across the country.  We have loved every minute of this adventure because we get to meet awesome people while teaching about Jesus and The Book of Mormon.  A big thanks to all who have supported us and enjoyed our book.  Sure do appreciate it!

The Good Word Interview

A good man, Nick Galeti, host of The Good Word podcast invited us to answer some questions and talk about our book while we were in Utah.  We had a great time and thought we should share so you can listen in too. Click on the link,

Best 18 Months Interview

Utah!

We made it to the motherland last weekend for a quick two day trip to visit with some amazing young women!  Their inner beauty and spirits were inspiring and we loved being with them.  We saw many future sister missionary faces in the audience.  Our goal was to motivate and encourage these young women to possibly start thinking about serving a full time mission.  We shared tips and tools to help them start preparing now.  Thank you to everyone who welcomed us with open arms into their wards.  Plus, we need to give a big shout out to our super rad husbands who held down the forts in Florida to make our weekend possible!

Florida Fireside

We had our first fireside and it was so much fun!  We enjoyed teaching together again and loved interacting with these future Missionaries.  We covered the 3 main things you need to know before you serve a full time mission.  Lets all go teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

Denise from Haw Creek, FL

Paige and Alicia's book was funny, encouraging, informative and organized very well. A very easy read that left me feeling a need to serve a mission! My daughter's sister-in-law, Jasmine was leaving to serve in the Olongapa Phillippines Mission so I sent her a copy. She appreciated it and enjoyed it as well. Way to go girls! Your blessings from your mission just keep rolling on!

Happy Birthday to Me!

I had a great birthday party thanks to Paige. That girl knows how to celebrate. We haven't been able to spend too many birthdays together so she really brought it this year! Paige and I are both older than our husbands with me being the oldest of the crew. For the next 4 months I will be 3 years older than my husband until he has his birthday in October. I like when we bridge the gap down to 2 years. Luckily, Paige got me tons of nice fancy skin care for my birthday to help slow the aging process! All kidding aside, thank you to Paige, her husband, Scott and of course my hubby, Britton, for making my first birthday in Florida so memorable. XOXO-Alicia
